Production Planner

Job Summary

As a Production Planner, you will be managing the scheduling and timeliness of various manufacturing processes. You will be working closely with the Manufacturing Manager and Administrator to ensure the company meets all production deadlines. Your duties include managing material and equipment availability, scheduling production and monitoring the production process for issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute production schedule to meet customer orders 
  • Plan material or sub-materials requirements according to production plan and work closely with the purchasing team to ensure sufficient supply of materials is maintain for smooth production
  • Work closely with the administrator to ensure production reports are updated timely for accurate progress tracking
  • Work closely with the Production Manager and Purchaser to ensure materials, manpower and machine capacity are available according to the production schedule
  • Develop, implement and maintain work instructions for current and new projects
  • Maintain production process records and work-force training records according to requirements
  • Perform tasks as assigned by manager

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Relevant working experience in manufacturing will be an added advantage
  • Strong planning and organising ability
  • Meticulous with an eye for details

Production Operator

Job Summary

As a production operator, your duties involve operating injection moulding machines to produce parts to meet production goals and timelines. Additionally, you will also be responsible for the quality control of products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate moulding machine in accordance to guidelines and instructions.
  • Perform visual inspection of moulded parts as a first cut inspection.
  • Perform inspection of moulded parts with the use of microscope to ensure it meets the required quality.
  • Follow up on the job orders and production schedule timely to meet daily production targets.
  • Ensure general workplace safety when operating the machines.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in similar industry is beneficial
  • Ability to use microscope to perform product cosmetic inspection
  • Comfortable with working in white room and clean room environment
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Able to work independently and on a team
  • Available to work rotating shifts

Quality Engineer

Job Summary

The Quality Department plays a very important role in Cyrus in maintaining the quality management system and driving quality improvements to deliver high quality products for our customers. You will be working closely with the Assistant Quality Manager on Quality Management System (QMS) and suppliers’ management.

Key Responsibilities

  • To participate in procedures for Supplier Management process such as supplier on-boarding, selection and approval process by assessing and evaluating supplier profile; visiting and auditing of supplier facility and process, initiating supplier quality agreement review, and establishing good partnership with suppliers.
  • To evaluate and monitor supplier performance and collaboration with suppliers to identify opportunities for enhancements and improvements.
  • To support new supplier/material qualification by ensuring that all supplier on-boarding related documentations and action are complete, and that quality of purchased material meets the required standards and expectations.
  • To communicate and work closely with external suppliers and internal stakeholders (Procurement, Warehouse and Manufacturing) on supplier/material qualification related projects, material quality related issues. To address on purchased material failures/defects and derive proper preventive and corrective action plans through SCAR system. 
  • Implement quality inspection standards on incoming and outgoing inspections.
  • Responsible for timely closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) , non-conformance investigation reports and customer complaints and publish reports on quality performance. 
  • Lead the Material Review Board (MRB) meeting involving members from production, engineering and quality departments to conduct root cause analysis, address quality issues, implement corrective actions and review its effectiveness. 
  • Maintain updated and accurate documents and records on ISO 9001, 14001 and 13485 system (includes Quality Manual, Procedures, Work Instructions, Forms etc) to ensure system compliance and ready for Management Review. 
  • Plan and conduct internal and external audits to ensure readiness of all sections for third party certification body, management review and customer audits.
  • Review audit findings and develop action plans to drive continuous improvements. 
  • Perform any other duties as assigned .

Requirements

  • Diploma in quality management / Engineering / Manufacturing or related field 
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in handling audits and ISO documentation in manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge in Supplier Management 
  • Knowledge of quality Management Standards such as ISO 9001, 14001, 13485 and ISO 22301. 
  • Knowledge in Potential Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA), Control Plans .and Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (GR&R) 
  • Familiar with 8D and 5W problem solving methodology.
  • Good communication and presentation skills 
  • Organized and detail oriented.  
  • Positive attitude with ability to multi task. 
  • Independent, takes initiatives and able to work with minimum supervision. 
  • Good team player with good initiatives and ability to work independently.

Estate Technician

Job Summary

The Estate Technician is responsible for maintaining the Company’s buildings, facilities, equipment and premises to ensure a safe, functional and well-maintained environment. The role involves carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and coordinating with term contractors and service providers as required

Key Responsibilities

  1. Building & Facilities Maintenance
    • Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of buildings, facilities and equipment
    • Attend to maintenance requests and rectify defects promptly
    • Carry out general building maintenance
    • Perform minor electrical, plumbing, sanitary, air-conditioning, painting and carpentry works
    • Troubleshoot and rectify maintenance issues or escalate major defects to the Estate & Safety Manager
  2. Contractor Coordination
    • Coordinate and follow up with term contractors and service providers for scheduled servicing, repair and statutory maintenance works as and when required
    • Verify completed works and ensure maintenance is carried out in accordance with company standards and safety requirements
  3. Preventive Maintenance
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance defects and potential safety hazards
    • Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports and service documentation
  4. Safety & Compliance
    • Ensure all maintenance works comply with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations and company safety procedures
    • Use tools and equipment safely and maintain good housekeeping of work areas
    • Report unsafe conditions and follow up with corrective actions
    • Support emergency maintenance and after-office-hours breakdowns when operationally required
  5. General Support
    • Support estate improvement projects and perform other duties assigned by the Estate & Safety Manager

Requirements

  • ITE / Nitec / Higher Nitec in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, Facilities Management or a related discipline
  • GCE N-Level qualification will be an added advantage
  • Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Building Facilities or related field will be advantageous
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant technical experience in building maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, carpentry and painting works
  • Able to use common hand and power tools safely
  • Reasonable communication with good interpersonal and proactive with positive mindset
  • Responsible, hands-on and able to troubleshoot and work independently
  • Physically fit to perform maintenance duties
  • Willing to work beyond normal office hours when operational needs require
  • Other Ad-hoc assigned by manager

Tooling Engineer

Job Summary

The Tooling Department plays one of the most critical roles in Cyrus. You will be joining a dynamic team managing and working closely with the Tooling Manager, to solve technical issues and managing the fabrication and repair process of moulds. You will also be involved in the day-to-day operations of the toolroom which includes documentation, planning and scheduling, and reporting to deliver on our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prioritise the projects and workload of the department, to ensure projects are fabricated accurately according to time schedules
  • Diagnose machine and tooling equipment malfunctions, as well as to expedite and coordinate repairs or replacement to avoid excessive downtime
  • Coach and support the development of the team, and provide guidance in solving toolmaking issues
  • Coordinate inspection and quality control activities to meet Health and Safety requirements, and to ensure the toolroom remains operational and efficient to meet project requirements
  • Maintain all critical documentation needed for the toolroom operations, and provide oversight and advice to Tooling Manager on machine acquisition, replacement and equipment repairs
  • Collaborate and work closely with external vendors to obtain competitive quotes and timely delivery of purchased parts with required workmanship
  • Contribute actively to continuously improve the tool room efficiency and standards

Requirements

  • Higher Nitec, Diploma or Degree in precision engineering/mechanical engineering is necessary 
  • Basic understanding of mould fabrication is required 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Class 3 driving license is an added advantage
  • Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organisational skills with a can-do attitude to learn and initiate new ways of working to achieve results
  • Good collaboration skills to work as a team and across teams, to problem solve to achieve desired results
  • Good leadership skills to supervise and maintain strong bonds within the team

Warehouse Assistant

Job Summary

The Logistics Department plays one of the most critical roles in managing part the assets in Cyrus. You will be joining a dynamic team managing and working closely with the Assistant Warehouse Manager to solve Logistics, warehouse operation issues, managing the inventory level and fulfil daily orders. You will also be required to implement new ideas to improve our logistics and warehouse operation processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Receiving and Inspecting of Goods
    • To verify the quantity of goods, inspect for damages and report discrepancies.
    • To ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
  2. Inventory Management
    • To tidy and organise all inventory and maintain accurate records for accurate monitoring 
    • To conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
  3. Order fulfilment 
    • To retrieve and pack shipment orders according to delivery schedules, and coordinate with inter-departments for deliveries and pickups.
  4. Warehouse Organization
    • To ensure inventory are well organised and stored at stipulated locations so as to achieve and maintain warehouse 5S standard.
  5. General Support
    • To initiate and collaborate on work improvements projects to improve processes and work environment.

Requirements

  • Secondary school, Higher Nitec, Diploma or 2years working experience in warehousing or environment.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office is required.
  • Valid Forklift license is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of ERP/WMS system.
  • Physical fitness to carry goods up to 25kg.
  • Key attention to detail and monitoring of inventory quality.
